Minneapolis Death Toll 6

This is an update on our earlier report which said only 2 dead.

6:07PM EST September 29. 2012 - A gunman who killed five people and injured three others at a small Minneapolis sign company before taking his own life had been fired that morning, according to local media.

The dead included company founder Reuven Rahamim, who founded the small company, Accent Signage Systems, which makes interior signs for companies and industries.
The gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot in the company's basement.
Typical mass shooting with no regard for whether the place was a gun free zone or not. His only consideration was that this was the place of his grievance.

What's your opinion?

  1. Carrying a handgun isn't a guarantee of safety. It's a means of improving the odds. Someone with a concealed weapon there might have settled this wacko's grievance much sooner. As things stand, it's an illustration of what happens when only one person is armed.

  2. This case supports my assertion that banning people from carrying at work does nothing to stop a determined killer.

On the other hand, it does a wonderful job of making the nice employees defenseless.

Could very well be. Either way, it means that gun-free zones are a fallacy and there is no rational reason for them.
