A shooting erupted at a crowded fair in Savannah and at least six people were taken to a hospital. Police said they detained several people for questioning. This is what happens when too many law abiding gun owners gather together.
None of the wounded appeared to have life-threatening injuries, said Julian Miller, spokesman for Savannah Chatham-County police. Few other details were immediately available.
A large crowd had gathered at the Coastal Empire Fair, located on Savannah's suburban south side, when witnesses heard gunshots about an hour before the fair's 11:30 p.m. closing time.

Webber, learn some facts. Here's some for you. I've taught in high schools and worked in a residential treatment facility for children. I also have passed background checks for carry licenses. Wake up from your fantasy.

Anonymous, you're a piece of shit. But hey, God's going to get you, too.
Delete"This is what happens when too many law abiding gun owners gather together."
ReplyDeleteThat is a silly assertion MikeB. Oodles of law abiding gun owners gather together at gun shows, gun ranges, NRA conventions, etc. and gunfights never break out.
I have had firearms in my possession for about 27 years and I have never once done anything illegal with my firearms. Neither has any of the dozens of other citizens I know who have firearms.

Delete"If they don't come over here, everything's fine. If they do, hom-i-ciiide," Keith said recently from his hangout on the corner, the site of a recent gang-related shooting. "Soon as the sun go down, everybody run an' get their guns. That's just how it is."
ReplyDeleteMikeb, you should send a message to USA Today. Somehow, their reporters missed the part about law-abiding gun owners. It's a shame when you deny the feelings in your little toe to the media.
