So a car analogy is "wonderful" if it comes via Laci or an anti-freedom rag like the Montreal Gazette. However if a pro-freedom person mentions a car analogy then it is bad.
Canada doesn’t need to have these speculative one-liners regarding registry from either side of the argument. They have had the registry in place for years. Those in favor of it need only show the value that they have gotten for their 2 billion, instead of coming up with some catchy car analogy.
Jade: “TS: Actually, Canada need not show anything; neither does the US since SCOTUS has noted registration is Constitutionally permissible.”
Actually Jade, Canadian legislators are obligated to show their constituents value in the bills they pass- lest they get booted out of office. Registration being constitutional or not, they are still a democracy- just like here. Likewise registration has always been constitutional in the US. Neither Heller nor McDonald added that permission.

ReplyDeleteBut since we are on the side of reality and not gunloons, the RCMP say the registry is "effective and efficient:"

FWM doesn't care about Reality, Jade.
ReplyDeleteLaci
I do care about reality. The reality is that registration does not prevent gun violence--never has, never will.

ReplyDeleteHow naive you are.
> SCOTUS has noted registration is Constitutionally permissible.
ReplyDeleteWhat? SCOTUS says registration is worthless as a crime tool since says you can't prosecute criminals for noncompliance.
I still don't like car comparisons.
ReplyDelete"I still don't like car comparisons."
ReplyDeleteBut they are "wonderful" none the less?
In your quest for someone, anyone to agree with you, you are being assimilated by Jade Tool. You realize that don't you?
Well can you really blame MikeB?
ReplyDeleteIt's mighty lonely being an anti-gunner.
Non guilty, guys. I've liked Jadegold's remarks from the very beginning.
ReplyDeleteBesides this one was Laci.
