Oklahoma City Shooting - One Dead

Capt. Dee Patty said they arrived to find a male shot to death. Investigators are talking to multiple witnesses, hoping someone will help them figure out what happened.

Oklahoma City Police spokesman Gary Knight said investigators learned that the victim and 22-year-old Jerdavion Ronell Knox began arguing and the argument escalated into a fight. Knox produced a pistol and shot the victim, killing him, Knight said, and then fled the scene.

Shortly after 1 a.m. on Friday, Knox was found at a home in the 10600 block of North Council Road, police said. He was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder. The identity of the man shot has not been released.
The "argument escalated into a fight," so how do they get 1st Degree Murder out of that?

Oh, well, this is Oklahoma where they make guns easily available and then punish the criminals but good.
