Gunloons Rush to Defend Ted Nugent, Child Molester

The weapons grade hypocrisy of gunloons is that they'll parrot anything the NRA tells them without question.   The NRA says that Obama is coming door-to-door with armed Commie Muslim Kenyans to take their guns and gunloons will open their wallets and give them whatever change they have from their mom's allowance.

Yet--if one suggests Ted Nugent is a child molester, the gunloons want video and DNA samples.

Of course, Ted Nugent is a child molester--he admits it.  During a 1998 VH-1 "Rockumentary, " Nugent admitted a taste for under-aged girls.  Pathetically, his own teenage children remember Nugent bringing home girls even younger than they were.

Courtney Love has admitted to servicing Nugent when she was 12.

From Wiki:

In 1978, Nugent began a relationship with seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa. Due to the age difference they could not marry so Nugent joined Massa's parents in signing documents to make himself her legal guardian, an arrangement that Spin magazine ranked in October 2000 as #63 on their list of the "100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock".[28][29]
Of course, Ted Nugent--draft dodger, racist and child molester--embodies the NRA

  1. Boy-o-boy, you sure don't know much about Rock n Roll and groupies.

    1. That's just stupid, Orlin. Very young girls should not be taken advantage of by older men. It's wrong.

    2. The question is, did he force himself upon anyone?

Maybe you guys can dig up Elvis and his flings with young chicks, like his 14 year-old girlfriend who later became his wife. Oh, and Elvis liked the gunz. That should keep you busy fer a while.

Interesting how you want to control young girls just like you want to control guns. You people seem to have control issues.

    3. You can blame Nugent's freedom on the legal system. Up until the early 2000s the age of consent in Hawaii was 14 years.

On another interesting note, the age of consent in Italy is 15 (and hence Berlusconi's lack of incarceration. The lowest age of consent in the U.S. is currently 16, although the law (unfortunately) often allows for conduct between underage parties, without threat of prosecution (the so-called "Romeo and Juliet statute").

Does anyone else think that this requires Federal action to set the national age of consent at 18 or 21 (without exceptions)?

  2. Goldilocks, I've seen all the proof that I need to know Obama's position on guns--that's from his votes while in legislatures and his statements. I know the desires of his party. I know the votes of the two Supreme Court justices that he nominated. That's evidence.

But consider this. If Obama isn't in favor of gun control, why do you support him?

  3. Ted Nugent's gun collection is only dwarfed by his ego ... from personal experience, my foggy recollections of the Woodstock-era, he would hold some pretty "fun" parties at his Michigan home ... the key to admission was to praise him as the greatest guitarist the world has ever seen ... in fact, he would greet people with that question ... if you said Clapton, Page, Hendrix, Beck or anybody but Nugent you were told forcible to leave.

    He has not changed.

  4. I had no idea he was literally a child molester. I though you were talking figuratively the other day. Shame on that asshole blowhard and shame on all the pro-gun idiots who support him in any way.

    1. I had no idea either ... and you won't find me supporting him.

But I think your concept of how most gun folks 'support' him is not entirely accurate either. Every movement has eccentrics who say things that more serious folks wouldn't dare say. It offers a bit of levity but most don't take them too seriously. Your side has Bill Maher as a good example.

However, what the bigger issue here is the hypocrisy of the left. They will lampoon Ted Nugent (and rightfully so). But won't say anything negative about similar misogynist tenancies of their own icons - like Bill Maher. He has made so many misogynist comments that any good feminist should kick him in the balls every chance they get - but they don't.

Look at the pass given Julian Assange by many on the left. Or even more classic is the fight to forgive the well known and admitted 'indiscretions' of Roman Polanski. Whoopi Goldberg even said "it wasn’t rape-rape". Contrast that to the beat down Todd Akin received for his 'legitimate rape' comment and the hypocrisy of the left becomes undeniable.

    2. Your anti-left bias is showing again. The rape-rape remark was referring to consensual sex with a teenager compared to forcible rape at knife point. One who does that is still a child molester, like Ted, but it's a far cry from kidnapping a teeny bopper and tying her up in the van.

What Akin said was so stupid that he got what he deserved, a loss of his seat.

    3. "The rape-rape remark was referring to consensual sex with a teenager compared to forcible rape at knife point."

I think you are remembering it incorrectly. Polanski drugged the girl and then raped her. Whoopi described that as not being "rape rape" whatever the hell that means. I remember well the liberal outcry against Whoopi for her comments... oh wait nevermind.

    4. It is called "statutory rape". You can say it is not "rape-rape", but it is not child molestation either. That has different guidelines.

    5. Jim - you are exactly right. Mike just chooses to remember a version that differs from reality.

      From wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Polanski_sexual_abuse_case):
"On 10 March 1977, Polanski, then aged 43, became embroiled in a scandal involving 13-year-old Samantha Gailey (now Samantha Geimer).[9] A grand jury charged Polanski with rape by use of drugs, perversion, sodomy, lewd and lascivious act upon a child under fourteen, and furnishing a controlled substance to a minor,[8] which ultimately led to Polanski's guilty plea to the charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor."

And TS - you may very well be correct. But that is also exactly what happened with Teddy N. So two instances of celebrities engaging in statutory rape. One is hung by the left and the other is forgiven and welcomed to return to the US (even with evidence of the use of drugs to facilitate the act - making it much more questionable as to whether it is forcible).

      Hypocrisy in action.

    6. Mike - I agree with you about Akin. I just used him as a point of reference because his "legitimate rape" comment was used in exactly the same context as Whoopi's "rape-rape" comment and yet could not have been received differently by the left ... and apparently by you as well since you are defending it.

    7. Mikeb, so what's your gripe with Nugent if his encounters were consensual? You really need to try to be more consistent.

    8. Orlin, I didn't say consensual with a minor was OK.

FL, wasn't Akin the one who said women's bodies have ways of shutting down the possibility of impregnation when it's rape? He did a lot more than say "legitimate rape" referring to forcible rape.

      Delete
    9. That is true, his comments went beyond just using the term 'legitimate rape'. It was a stupid thing to say and he deserved to be lambasted.

But it still wasn't a criminal sexual act against a minor. He didn't use drugs on a 13 year old so that he could have intercourse with her. Those are the actions that Whoppi and many others on the left were sooo willing to forgive so that their beloved film director could return to the US.

So, again I say, Hypocrisy in action. Are you defending it?

      Delete
    10. No, I don't defend hypocrisy in action, but I'm not convinced that's what Whoopie was doing. You sound like you hate liberals so much you're jumping to conclusions.

  5. I am just noting that child molestation and statutory rape are two separate things, both deplorable. I believe molestation can be charged with a lower degree of sexual contact, but the victim is younger. There is also a different psychological element when you are talking about a pre- pubesant child.

  6. 17 is hardly a child. Even in the western world less than 100 years ago 16 was a very common age for a girl to be married. As for non western countries, well they're a bit ridiculous but they marry about the time a western world girl is looking at staying high school if they wait even that long. As for Courtney Love who knows about anything that comes out of her mouth, she's a sloppy mess and says just about anything to get noticed. I can't imagine a 12 year old Courtney would have had any access to a man who at that time was a big rock star so I think that one is very very doubtful. I find that the people who are extremely anti Ted are more anti republican than anything since he's very vocal, has a sharp tongue and draws a large crowd. I really don't give a crap about him one way or the other since I'm not American so his politics are a moot point, but I don't find his 17 year old girlfriend particularly disturbing especially since in a matter of months she'd have been legal anyways. His most vocal detractors are mostly butthurt politicos. As I said the man does have a very sharp tongue.
