Black Folks Don't Join the NRA

  1. This was an interesting video in that is shows a lot of the stereotypes that people of color have about the NRA and guns. Some of them are inaccurate. For example, one woman mentions that Martin Luthor King Jr. applied for and was refused a carry permit after his home had been firebombed, and somehow it was the NRA's fault, when in reality it was southern Democrats that established these laws and the NRA was helping arm black communities in order for them to defend themselves from the Klan.
I also see that there is a segment of black Americans who value and make use of the right to bear arms, but don't join the NRA because they just don't want to. I'm not a member of the NRA, but I am a member of a state level group dealing with legislation. Perhaps they join more local groups. Or perhaps they just exercise their rights and want to be left alone.
I did find it sort of amusing where one woman tried to link a rap music singer to the mindset of the NRA.

    1. Maybe the MLK story was a bit off, but almost all the rest of the comments referred to the racism that prevails in the NRA. Do you think this was inaccurate too?

  2. What a bunch of stereotypes and falsehoods and uninformed assertions. Clearly, Colion Noir needs to make more videos.

    1. Blacks in the NRA are about as welcome and commonplace as women in the gun-rights movement. You have to deny this because you think it lends some credibility to your positions or some normalcy to them. But it doesn't because we know you're wrong.

    2. The NRA has an open racist on its board. That's not a falsehood, or uninformed assertion. Since it has been shown you are a racist, it's no surprise you support Ted Nugent and his racist comments, to the point of sending the NRA your money (support).

    3. Any good person is welcome in the gun rights movement, so far as I'm concerned.

    4. Thanks for confirming you think racists are good people. Of you would, you are a racist.

    5. Anonymous, are you even capable of making sense or telling the truth?

    6. I said Ted Nugent, not some anonymous person. I said he is a proven racist.
      You replied,
"Any good person is welcome in the gun rights movement, so far as I'm concerned."
Confirming you think Ted Nugent is a good person.
I'm sure you do think Ted Nugent is a good person, since you have proven with your own words that you are a racist and an antisemite.

    7. Anonymous, I can't tell if you're a liar or an idiot:

      1. I said that any good person is welcome in the gun rights movement, so far as I am concerned. I welcome any good person who supports our rights. I was speaking for myself there.

      2. The NRA is not the sum total of the gun rights movment. That is one organization of many. Ted Nugent is one member of many in the NRA.

    8. And 3. I was addressing Mikeb. I generally ignore you, Anonymous.

    9. You try to ignore me and I understand your cowardly attempts to deflect explaining your racist, antisemitic, criminal words.
Again liar, I described Ted Nugent as a racist, your reply was he was a good person.
No surprise since you have proven yourself to be a racist.
Thanks again for proving me correct.
SS and TS always answer questions I asked of you, but of course you are to much of a coward to reply yourself, so you send your fellow cowardly criminal liars to respond for you. That's fine, it only proves they are cowardly liars also. Thanks for that.

Anon, even though you directed this at Greg, I'm going to throw in on this since I was mentioned. As I've said before, its often difficult to tell exactly which "site lying coward" you are referring to since your comment comes in after several others. And no one sends me, if I feel I have something to contribute, I will since this is a public debate. As for your use of the term cowardly, it seems contradictory for a coward to come forward to speak here. To quote Inigo Montoya,
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

    11. You often answer for Greg, which shows Greg is a coward and you agree with his criminal thinking. He chastised me for responding to him on a comment he meant for Mike, so he doesn't see it as a public forum. I agree, this is a public forum and I will counter his lies and cowardice, and yours.

    12. Anonymous, this is why I can't trust you. I said that I welcome any good person into the gun rights movement, but you bring up Ted Nugent and twist things into a claim that I was talking about him.

    13. Can't read either, figures for a lying criminal coward .
I said Ted Nugent and you said he was "any good person." Idid not say any person, I said Ted Nugent
      Next lie

    14. Anonymous, I was speaking to Mikeb. That was when comment moderation was still on, so my reply took a while to appear. I didn't use the word, he, in the comment in question.

This is why you can't be trusted. You twist words around and make things up.

    15. Moderation has been off for days now, but thanks for lying again and proving me correct again. Prove lying criminals like you are the ones who cannot be trusted.

  3. With a proven racist like Ted Nugent on the board of the NRA, they advertise their bigotry. They obviously do not want black people as members of the NRA.
