  1. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hundreds of millions, if not billions of those scary magazines are already in circulation.

Only an idiot would think they could ban a box with a spring in it.

    1. And only a criminal would knowingly break the law after it has been passed.

  2. "The magazine limitations deal with detachable as well as fixed magazines. For this reason, the passage of the measure would mean .22 rifles with fixed magazines beyond ten rounds--43 rifles including the "Marlin Model 60, Remington Nylon 66 and Winchester 190"--would be numbered with banned "assault [firearms].""

Obviously a serious danger to society. And possibly a danger to Christie's political aspirations if he signs it into law. If the state of New Jersey wishes to outlaw all guns that are pink, they are certainly welcome to. However, the levels of acceptable gun legislation there are quite a bit different than what the public will accept on a national level and New Jersey in its quest to take gun laws to new heights of silliness can at least serve as an example to other states.

"New Jersey’s absurd citizen control fetish doesn’t play well in New Hampshire, Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Utah, Nevada, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, or Michigan," wrote the article’s author, Bob Owens, noting key primary states. "Any candidate that doesn’t do well in these early primaries can kiss their presidential aspirations goodbye, and one of the fastest ways to sink a Republican nomination in the current political environment is to be seen as a champion of gun control."

    1. That's why the republican candidates are all so utterly useless. NRA gun lovers are a only a very small portion of the overall electorate. It is a shame if you believe that this will hurt Christie. For all of his faults, he does seem to be head and shoulders above the rest of the field in terms of brainpower and a certain integrity.

I guess what you are really saying is no republican stands a snowball's chance in hell in 2016, any more than that heartless corporate vulture Romney stood any chance whatsoever against the president. Here's hoping that Christie does the right thing and still somehow miraculously scores the nomination. It's time for the republican party to strike out in a new direction or simply go the way of the dodo. Also it would make for one helluva a race.

Too bad the Karl Rove boy's club didn't have the balls to run Palin in 2012. That was the race everyone was praying for. Don't tell me she's an idiot. She's got as much smarts as any of the other republican contenders.
