California Man Arrested at Airport with a Gun for the Second Time

A Northern California man was arrested Monday while trying to bring a loaded gun onto an airplane at John Wayne Airport, authorities said.

Minhchau Pham was stopped by agents of the Transportation Security Administration when they spotted a .38 revolver inside his carry-on luggage at a security checkpoint, the Orange County Register reports.

This is the 43-year-old’s second offense. In 2005 he was also arrested for attempting to bring a loaded pistol on a flight to San Jose, authorities said
First offense, loss of gun rights, second offense, I don't know, maybe 6 months in county.

  1. Mikeb, trying to carry a weapon onto an airplane is already a felony with the potential of a sentence of not more than ten years. Of course, this fellow would have done better to buy himself a hairbrush.
