Perez Hilton on Ted Nugent and the NRA

Referring to some asinine nonsense Ted said at the convention, Perez had this to say.

Does he and the NRA really think that making it harder for those who are not responsible enough, or people with malicious intent, to get guns is a life-threatening problem? Because to us, it doesn't sound like anyone is taking their guns out of their hands or their end-ability to buy them, but rather putting up a little inconvenience that their passion for guns should surpass.
What do you think? Please leave a comment.

    That's it, that's your rebuttal?

When I can be shown photos of how a blog post caused someone to die of gunshot wounds then there might some degree of equivalency; iow, nahgunnahappen.

I'm sure that Teddy teh Teabaggist could gut and skin Perez in nothin' flat, after doin' a little whango tango on his ass with whatever penis substitute Ted might be packin' at the moment. Otoh, he could just show Perez how to shit himself, just in case the draft ever gets reinstituted. Hey, it worked for Ted and he's like a frikkin' war hero to the gunzloonz.

  6. Perez might say somthing to enrage a gun owner into a shooting spree, if it stoping blogger from idiotic posting stops one potential killer isn't it worth it to protect the children......

  7. Actually when he questions how you biased closed-minded gun extremists can think that "making it harder for those who are not responsible enough, or people with malicious intent, to get guns is a life-threatening problem," I take him very seriously.

I hear you, Democommie. You must have been outraged when people blamed Sarah Palin for Tucson.

  9. TS:

Sarah Palin wasn't "blog posting", actually; her backers and the rest of the astroturfnoisemakers (sponsored and funded by such scumbags as Richard Scaife-Mellon) were running campaign ads depicting, among others, Ms. Gifford's congressional district in the crosshairs of, what was it St. Sarah The Impalinator called it AFTER the shootings, oh, yeah, a "surveyor's crosshairs". And that is, in your mind, something like the equivalent of Perez Hilton dissing the Michigan Meatpuppet?

But, then, comparing Sarah Palin with Perez Hilton and saying that one, a national figure (even if she nothing but an opportunistic grifter and attention whore) is the moral equivalent of the other is about par for the course with you bozoz.

Hey, how come I not getting any "blowback" on that terrible thing I said about Teabag Teddy and his draft dodging? Oh, that's right, it's true. Just goes to show, cowardly douchebags like Ted Nugent can be all brave and patriotic on the teevee but actually going to serve in the military, no, that's for somebody else.

  10. So you are saying Palin is to blame for people getting shot despite your above quote of “nahgunnahappen”? I did not comment on Hilton, or draw any equivalencies, or defend Ted Nugent. I was merely agreeing with you that trying to pin someone’s blog pictures on a shooting is hysterical and defamatory- but it seems you have reversed your position. I am under the impression that this is solely because you don’t like Sarah Palin, not because you are using sound reasoning. I don’t like her either- but I remain grounded and consistent.

Note the penis replacement comment from democommie. I know Mike thinks it is mostly the gun nutz that mention this, but here is an example of otherwise.

  12. democommie, I would expect Ted Nugent to be booed off the stage at the NRA Convention, that is if the audience had any integrity or consistency. Guys who talk tough, flaunt weapons, wear military clothing, but who had gone to great lengths to avoid military service are phoneys, plain and simple.
