Cenk Interviews Penn

I still don't understand how he could have gotten through his whole life without ever having taken a drink or a toke. But I like what he has to say about this.

The war on drugs is a failure in every sense of the word, it has corrupted our government *cough* google CIA, Barry Seal, Bill Clinton, George Bush and see who the biggest drug dealers are *cough*.

It really has no place in a voluntary or free society. If people really want to put the cartels out of business and stop drug violence, Take the money incentive away. Decriminalize marijuana, heck, decriminalize all of it, cocaine, heroin.

Prices would go down immediately, the cartels would be out of the drug business pretty quickly. The problem is that the military industrial complex, the prison industrial complex, the law enforcement racket would also have to shrink. You can't have that can you? Also, there are government employee unions that might not be keen on losing membership. It's just one giant circle jerk of special interests and none of them have the interests of regular people in mind.

    We are fucked.

  2. It's too bad that Fattiturk didn't raise the question of gun control, since Jillette is on my side about that. I'm beginning to think that Jillette needs to run for president.

    1. Why do you mock people's names if you disagree with them?

    2. I'm making a pun. The founder of the modern state of Turkey was Ataturk. Then there's the frequent talk here about how American gun owners are fat, white people.
